20CL Mezky #2

Having spent 21 months in a Laphroaig Quarter Cask barrel, our blend of agave expressions: one from a clay-pot still process, and a classic espadin – as well as a good measure of an award winning tobala expression that brings a unique tasting, 3-dimensional herbal tone to the batch.

The whisky element is more present too this time, having spent a longer time in the barrel, this batch starts with strong whisky notes, so that when you sip it, you get a welcoming nip of whisky flavour that moves gently into sweet caramel barrel notes, before developing into complex layers of sweet and salty smoky goodness taking us to a long smooth finish that leaves us with smoky echoes and traces of the herbal tobala, and all it’s complex glory.
